Small movements on the controller are all that's neccesary. You need to adjust the trim controls (foreward/backward & rotation) to get the helicopter to an equalimbirum state at first but once that is setup the heli is fairly straight foreward to control and good fun whilst it is in the air...which is the problem for me. Actual flying time only seems to last for 3-4 mins after a full charge. After that the heli doesnt have enough power to stay in the air properly. Im not sure if this is normal or if this is dud unit. Im thinking about sending back and getting a replacement. Review by S. Wilson for Syma S026 Coaixal Blade Tandem Chinook Cargo transporting helicopter

The helicopter is truly 3 channel, giving you full control over forward/back, turning, altitude etc. Capable of hovering; lets you perform realistic lift-offs. You get a satisfyingly powerful hum from the twin motors too!

Battery lasts for a good 10 minutes per charge, controller range is excellent. It took a while to get the hang of it with the controls, but once mastered is a great helicopter, but is not a toy for a young child, as the chinook takes off very quickly and can go straight into you, and the blades can hurt you. It is a great present for any teenager, can have hours of fun. Review by SAS for Syma S026 Coaixal Blade Tandem Chinook Cargo transporting helicopter
